Pass EDA has announced its first event of the year, a Regional City Manager Forum to be held Wednesday, September 26 at 7:30 am at Tukwet Canyon Golf Course. The cost of the event is $25.00 per person and includes breakfast.
The City Managers of Yucaipa, Calimesa, and Beaumont, as well as the Acting City Manager of Banning, will talk about their cities’ efforts to recruit businesses to the region and the current status of their cities. The forum will be followed by a question and answer session.
Pass EDA (Economic Development Agency) has sponsored a similar event in past years, and is pleased to resume events important to our communities again.
“We want to know what our cities are doing to recruit jobs for our region,” said Dr. Roger Schultz, a member of the Pass EDA board and superintendent/president of Mt. San Jacinto College. “We feel that this will be an excellent opportunity for them to share this information with local residents and businesses.”
Pass EDA is a public-private partnership committed to helping bring jobs to the Pass, and to train residents for those jobs. The public/private partnership puts it in a unique position to help the region grow its economy. More information, including details and registration for the Regional City Manager Forum, is available on its web site, passeda.net or at 951-312-7501.
The next Pass EDA event will focus on regional transportation needs and will be held in early 2019.
